Acceptable Use Policy

What you may not build with Leadgible, how anyone can report a form that breaks these rules, and how fast we deal with it.

In effect from 2026-10-06. This policy forms part of our Terms of Service: by using Leadgible you agree to it. It applies to every funnel on every plan, whether it is embedded on your site or served from a page we host.

What you may not build

  • A form that phishes. Do not ask for a password or any other sign-in detail for another service, for a payment-card number, or for a government identity number, and do not pass a form off as another organisation's to get them.
  • A form that collects more than it says it is for. Ask only for the personal data your funnel's stated purpose needs. Tell the people filling it in who is asking and what happens to their answers, and do not use what they send for anything else.
  • A form that decides who gets a job, credit, insurance or a home, on a plan that cannot publish one. These are regulated decisions. The rules that apply to them are yours to meet, and the next section says which plans may publish such a funnel and on what condition.
  • Anything the law prohibits outright. In particular, do not use Leadgible to infer the emotional state of an employee, a job applicant, a pupil or a student. Emotion recognition in the workplace and in education is a prohibited practice under the EU AI Act, not merely a high-risk one.

The Terms say what else you may not do with the service itself, under What you may not do. This page is about what a funnel may ask and decide.

What we check when you publish

Every time a funnel is published, an automatic check reads it before anything is written: for questions that ask for a password, a card number or an ID number, and for funnels that decide who gets a job, credit, insurance or a home. It reads the questions a funnel asks and the words around them.

On the Free and Starter plans, a funnel that asks for a password, a card number or an ID number is held for review, and cannot go live until someone at Leadgible has reviewed it. On Pro and above such a funnel is published straight away, and flagged for a person at Leadgible to read.

On those plans a funnel that decides who gets a job, credit, insurance or a home cannot be published at all. On Pro and above it is published only once you confirm that your organisation has its own compliance basis for that decision, and the confirmation is recorded with your name and the time.

A check that passes is not our approval of a funnel. It can miss what a person would see, and a funnel that publishes is still bound by this policy.

Reporting a form

Every funnel carries a link, Report this form, beside its badge - on the plans that remove the badge too. It opens a short page on which you choose what is wrong and, if you like, add a note. A report is anonymous: we ask for no name and no email address, so we cannot write back to tell you what we decided.

What a report holds, and how it is kept, is in our privacy policy.

How fast we deal with it

A person at Leadgible reads every report, and every funnel the check holds or flags, every day. How long a decision takes depends on what the form asks for:

  • A form that asks for a password, a card number or an ID number is decided within 24 hours, every day of the week.
  • Anything else is decided within 3 working days, Monday to Friday.

The clock starts when the report is filed, or when our check holds or flags the funnel, and it stops at a decision. A decision is one of the steps below, an approval or a refusal of a funnel that was held, or a finding that the report does not show a breach.

A report filed for another reason that turns out, when we read it, to be about a form asking for one of those three is on the 24-hour clock from when it is read.

What we do about a form that breaks these rules

We take the lowest step that stops the harm. In order: we flag the funnel; we put publishing on hold for it; we take the funnel down; we suspend the workspace it is in; we suspend the organisation.

Each step is emailed to the organisation's Owner with the reason, and written into the organisation's audit log. Nothing is deleted at any step: the funnels, their versions and every lead they captured stay in the account. Every step can be lifted, and a funnel we took down is put back as it was when it is.

If you think we have got it wrong, reply to that email. A reply reaches support@leadgible.com, and a person reads it.

Paying for a plan does not lift a suspension made under this policy. A suspension under this policy is separate from what happens when a payment fails, which the Terms describe, and a breach of this policy is a breach of the Terms, which say when we may close an account.
